Sky Ferreira for Maison Katsiné!

Looks like we finally are going to be start seeing a whole lot more of Sky Ferreira this year. In recent months she toured and opened up for Vampire Weekend. Most recently she released her highly anticipated album Night Time, My time. Now she is the new face of French label, Maison Kitsuné! Check out some of the fun and fabulous photos below!

I think Sky Ferreira can do no wrong when it comes to being the face of a label. Let us not forget her past Saint Luarent and Jeremy Scott campaigns! In my opinion, Sky can do no wrong!
What do you think of the photos?

Like A Stranger...

I first heard of Kitten sometime last summer, when they opened up for Charli XCX at The Troubadour. They were one of the opening bands, but they naturally stood out in a good way. I instantly become a fan right then and there! They have a sound that I can't ever get tired of, and their live energy makes their shows ten times better. Today they released, "Like A Stranger", a new song from their new EP, and I can't stop listening to it! I get a Depeche Mode meets Madonna kind of vibe from the song. It's definitely worth listening to!

Photos of the week # 3&4

So I seriously need to get better about posting at least a couple of times per week on here. I mean even if no one might be reading my stuff, I need to make it habit. Anyways, it's time to recap the last couple of few with some photos! Take a look below!

Not really sure how I found out about Choies, but I'm really glad I found out about them! They're a fashion e-commerce site, but unlike many other sites they actually carry men's clothing! This is kind of a big deal for me since I'm not too into wearing women's clothing, well except their jeans... For my first order from them I ordered three "Givenchy Inspired" shirts, you can see them below.

I don't think this particular is available anymore, but you can look through the men's collection here.
 Find it here!

I love each and everyone of them! I have yet to find the perfect time or place to to wear them to, but once I do find it I will take plenty of pictures!

So something kind of amazing happened this week, ALEXIS KNOX FOLLOWED ME ON TWITTER! If you aren't already familiar with Alexis she is an amazing UK based stylist, who's styled everyone from Charli XCX, to Miley Cyrus, and even Sky Ferreira! Anyways, not only did she follow me, but she actually messaged me and asked me for some pointers for her LA visit. I was honored, she even gave me a shout out on twitter! If yn't already familiar with Alexis she is an amazing UK based stylist, who's styled everyone from Charli XCX, to Miley Cyrus, and even Sky Ferreira! You can follow Alexis on twitter here, and follow me here!

My birthday was a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't really make a big deal out of it. However, everyone at work decided to surprise me with this amazing colorful and fruity cheesecake!

So the weekend of my birthday week I somehow managed to lose my wallet, with all my crucial belongings in there. So I went almost a week without a proper ID, no debit or credit cards, or any cash. It was a pretty boring and long week, but I somehow manage to get myself into a bar using only my middle school ID and my DMV temp ID/DL paper.

My friends and I decided to drive out to a friends house over in Fontana to celebrate my friends birthday, needless to say I kind of over packed for my overnight stay. You can see that I managed to match my cici hot creepers with my UNIF Shredder pack.

It was a pretty fun memorable weekend.

Shortly after receiving my temporary debit card I went out and I shopped! I got extremely lucky, and found this pair of Dr. Marten's at Ross. Some of the best 30 dollars I have spent to this date!

Early this morning, and by that I mean 6 AM I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. So I decided to look online to see if I could find a stream of the new Lindsay Lohan movie, The Canyons. It was pretty good, being a hard core Lindsay fan it was nice seeing her doing some acting.

There you have it, there is a lengthy photos of the week post. I will promise to try and post a lot more regularly on here from now on!

Photos of the week #2

So once again it's Monday, and once again I'm late for my photos of the week post. Well it's okay, better late than never... Well anyway take a look at my photos below!

My friends and I went to a wedding anniversary party that had an open bar. We obviously took advantage of this and grabbed as many drinks as could. This night ended with me falling asleep at the table, whilst my friends were either dancing or jumping around in the jumper outside.

The next morning I woke up with a minor hangover, so of course I had to grab an ice cold coke. I keep telling myself that it helps me when I'm hungover, but I'm just really lying to myself.

That same day after laying around my friends room for what seemed like hours, we went out too look for a good snack. I tried a chamango for the first time, but I was not impressed. It looked nice though...

I didn't think I could do it, but I upgraded to iOS7! Let me just say that it takes some getting use to, but it it BEAUTIFUL! I love everything about it!

Since I wasn't able to see all my friends on my actual birthday, I'm occasionally still celebrating here and there with friends whenever we have a free day. Yesterday, Sunday, two of my friends took me to one of my favorite restaurants, One World! Where one of my friends gifted me one of my favorite movies of the year, Spring Breakers! So my Sunday was in fact a fun day!

Once I got home, I got to look through all my mail of the week where I had a lovely little thing waiting for me. It was my ticket for the Sky Ferreira show in September, I am literally counting down the days until this show! I honestly have a good concert line up coming up, FYF in August, Charli XCX, Kitten, and Sky Ferreira in September, and HAIM in August!

There you have it, those are my photos of the week!

Recent Purchases!

Now that I have a full time job I realize how hard it is to save money... You always have things to pay off, in my case I have a couple of bills, and two credit cards that I really wish would disappear. However, every now and then I feel like it's necessary to treat yourself to some nice things... I'm always looking for a great bargain, and sometimes I get extremely lucky with the things I buy. Here are a couple of my recent purchases below!

I have a friend that works over at an online website, Cici Hot, it's an online store that sells trendy, but affordable fashions for women. So unfortunately I can only really look through the shoe and accessory sections on the site, which is where I came across these awesome Spiked Buckled Creeper shoes! They are extremely comfortable and go perfectly with my almost all black wardrobe! That same day I got an amazing Lindsay Lohan pin-up shirt from Redbubble, also an online store. That shirt quickly became one of my all time favorite purchases!

So I decided to add onto my UNIF collection, I had previously purchased their Grim Creepers and Hell Raisers and loved them! So I decided to splurge on some of their incredibly soft t-shirts. I got myself six shirts, which unfortunately you can't buy online anymore, and the amazing Shredder Pack!!! I don't regret these purchases at all, they are certainly worth every penny I spent!

So there you have it, those are some of my most recent purchases!

Brave

" [The abuse] affected me, but I’ve moved past it. There’s always going to be something about me that will be a little off because of it—the way I view sex or something—but I’m not “Sky Ferreira, Rape Victim.” I could have let it control my life in some way, but I didn’t. I guess I find it really hard to trust people. That’s why I can’t imagine having casual sex. I find it to be a very personal thing—well it is, of course, but now I view it as a serious thing. "
-Sky Ferreira

When you find out things like this, about an artist you can't help but feel more connected to them. I admire how open and honest Sky is about things like this, despite all the crap she's given by people all the time. It honestly makes me love her even more.

Photos of the week #1

Since it seems like I'm always documenting everything with pictures instead of words, I thought I would post a weekly photo recap. I was initially suppose to post this on Sunday night, but me being me I forget... So here is last weeks, July 1st- July 8th, photo recap.

I rediscovered Sean Farris whilst "fighting" with my good friend during a viewing of Pretty Little Liars...

My co-worker took me to a Ramen joint on our lunch break, and I finally tried legit ramen!

My friends and I celebrated the third of July by hitting up a happy hour. Those glowing drinks definitely helped us ring the fourth of July properly.

I've always been a fan of putting fruits in my water to make it more enjoyable. However, it wasn't until this week that I started putting fruit into sparkling water, and it is AMAZING-UHHHH!

Friday I had somethings to take care of, so I took the day off from work and ran some errands with the company of two of my lovely lady friends. We drove out to Century City, and then to Cal State LA, then headed back home to eat some food! I took my friends to One World, a Vegetarian restaurant, and luckily they loved it!

I got to watch the new SKINS episode... It was definitely something different, but I still enjoyed it.

I finally got the chance to try out these delicious Japanese sodas in the glass bottle and with the little carbonated ball. The wait was worth it!

I went to my friends step moms party, and ate lots of delicious food and drank plenty of alcoholic beverages, and even some more Japanese soda...

I ended the week by taking my friend to my new favorite little store, Daiso, which is pretty much a Japanese version of a 99. cent store only they have cuter and more delicious things! Yes I stocked up on some more soda and snacks... I think I'm developing some sort of problem.

Well there you have it  my first, but certainly not my last weekly photo recap.
